Things to love on a Saturday:
1. The first peony's of the season, bright pink, closing and opening with the sun.
2. The sound of rain on my windows and in the street as the cars drive by.
3. The smell of roasting hazelnuts and melted chocolate coming together to form the ultimate Nutella Cake.
4. The very happy and quick recovery of the family dog, Beau. Ill at the vet for the past couple days. Cured and coming home today!
5. Being able to sleep in till an extremely ungodly hour and then eat cake for breakfast. There is too much cake in this tiny studio. Thank goodness for friends and co-workers!
Hurray! This is inspiring. I love peonies and the smell of that cake.
